Are YOU the master of Anti-Gravity Racing ...?

Welcome to WipEout Anti-Gravity Racing: World Class!

No doubt you're here because you crave the high-octane world of WipEout! But have you ever wondered how good you really are? Perhaps you've only ever played against the AI, and you're probably pretty good. But against real-life opponents, who all think they have what it takes to be the best, do you have what it takes?

And that's what we're here to find out. Enter into the Anti-Gravity Racing World Championships here to determine your global ranking. Every week, friendly WipEout tournaments will be hosted in one of the formats (HD-Fury OR 2048), and if your entry is successful, your points will be submitted to your profile and global ranking. Earn virtual trophies to demonstrate your ability in the world of AGR, and see how successful you are in each event.

Do you have what it takes to be the best? Or will you be left behind in the dust ...?

Whatever you do, don't WIPEOUT!!

NOTE: ranking is separated into each format. If you wish to develop your ranking in both formats, apply to tournaments for each as often as possible!

Terms & Conditions

Rules, Terms & Conditions

Please read through the following terms and conditions, which you must agree to in order to participate in the weekly tournaments, world championship qualifiers, world championships, and any other events that are listed on WipEout Anti-Gravity Racing: World Class. If you have any queries, please contact me at owenbell99@gmail.com (NOTE: Spamming this address or sending dangerous or offensive messages to this address will result in permanent suspension from the world rankings and future tournaments).

1) Application to WipEout Anti-Gravity Racing: World Class

If you wish to apply to be included in the WipEout HD-Fury or 2048 global rankings, contact me at the address owenbell99@gmail.com in an e-mail containing the following pieces of information. Feel free to be as detailed as you like (so long as it conforms to the terms met in Section 5 of this page), but these articles MUST BE INCLUDED AT A BARE MINIMUM:
  • Full name (in the form SURNAME, FORENAME): Bell, Owen
  • Country: England, UK
  • SEN/PSN Username: Darkplayster2
  • Favourite Team (NOTE: If you AT ALL play HD-Fury, you should pick your favourite team from that selection. If you are only entered in the 2048 world rankings, please ONLY choose from FEISAR, AG Systems, Qirex, Auricom and Pir-Hana/Piranha.): Goteki 45
  • Information (any other information that you wish to be shared. DO NOT include here information that could cause harm or offense: if you do, your application WILL be rejected): Trophy Count, Ratio of Pass:Elite Pass on WipEout 2048, Friend List (ASK PERMISSION FIRST), etc.
If your application is successful, you will receive an e-mail notification to inform you of this. Within approx. 48 hours a profile page will appear on the site. You may add/remove any information you wish at a later date by contacting me at the same addresss. Please give 2 -3 days for a change in profile information.

2) Opting for Tournaments

Application to the event will open on the evening prior to the tournament/event at 23:59 (NOTE: ALL AFOREMENTIONED TIME DATA IS BASED ON GMT +0:00  London, Dublin OR GMT +1:00 London, Dublin. Be sure to plan accordingly.).

A notification message will be sent at least 48 hours before to all those currently registered as participants in the global rankings to that format

The first 8 applicants according to the time and order recieved in my inbox will earn a place on the lineup. If you are included in this 'top 8' you will subsequently receive an e-mail informing you of your success. If you are unable to partake in the tournament/event please contact me at owenbell99@gmail.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If I receive this message in good time, I will contact the 9th person to contact me and offer them the available place. Should they refuse the offer, the 10th applicant will be offered the place, and so on. If those in 9th, 10th and 11th should refuse the offer, the tournament/event will commence with only 7 racers. If more than four people in this 'top 8' revoke their application prior to the tournament/event, the tournament/event in question WILL BE CANCELLED. The race may be rescheduled: in that case all those participating in the world rankings in that format will be notified and a reapplication date will be announced.

Podium winners from the previous tournament/event (those who have made the top 3) will be refused entry into the next tournament/event, regardless of application position, unless there are no other willing participants. In this case, the 3rd place winner from that event will be offered a place first, then the 2nd place winner, then 1st. This is to ensure that the world rankings tournaments/events are not dominated by certain players, and to provide users with as muh opportunity as possible to play against new opponents.

3) Issues during a Tournament/Event

If a problem occurs, and a user is Signed Out of the PlayStation Network, and they do not sign back in within two minutes, THEY WILL BE DROPPED from the lineup and any points they acquired during the tournament/event will be nullified.

If a user is obviously absent, or another user draws attention to the fact that a user has become absent, then that user will be given three minutes to return to play. If they do not, they will also be dropped from the lineup and, as in the above scenario, will have any points that they acquired during the tournament/event nullified.

If a user becomes temporarily absent of their own volition, they should let myself or the tournament supervisor know that this is the case. The same applies, in that being absent for more than 3 minutes will result in that user being dropped, but it helps myself or the tournament supervisor to keep the tournament/event organised and also allows for an immediate drop if the user informs myself or the tournament supervisor that they will be absent for more than three minutes.

Prior to play, please ensure that you have the best internet connection possible. It is advised that you try to secure your internet connection at least 30 minutes in advance of the tournament/event. This is for two reasons: the first is that it allows YOU, the user, to attempt to secure your internet connection in time, and the second is that it provides you with the opportunity to contact myself or the tournament supervisor if you are unable to participate.

If you are Signed Out of the PlayStation Network, note the error code (if any) that is shown on-screen and contact myself or the tournament supervisor via e-mail as soon as possible. Although you lose any points from that tournament/event, you may have the opportunity to pick up points, based on the type of error you experienced, that contribute towards your global ranking. Note that general issues attributed to a poor internet connection will struggle to earn you any points as it has been advised already in this document that you should secure an internet connection at least 30 minutes prior to play.

4) Issues relating to myself or the tournament supervisor

If myself or the tournament supervisor will be unable to host a tournament/event, they should let all players involved in that event know and should inquire into a replacement AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If no replacement can be found, then all those concerned will gain 50 bonus points towards their global ranking as a consolation.

If myself or the tournament supervisor is Signed Out of the PlayStation Network, the race will be cancelled by default. In this case, ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE TOURNAMENT/EVENT, including myself or the tournament supervisor, will receive 30 bonus points towards their global ranking as a consolation.

If myself or the tournament supervisor would be absent FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME, they should let all other users concerned know, and pause the game. If myself or the tournament supervisor is then absent for more than three minutes, users are encouraged to leave the race. Upon returning to the game, if they have been absent for more than three minutes, myself or the tournament supervisor is instructed to terminate the tournament/event in progress, regardless. In this case, ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE TOURNAMENT/EVENT BESIDES MYSELF OR THE TOURNAMENT SUPERVISOR will receive 30 bonus points towards their global ranking as a consolation.

In all of the above scenarios, myself or the tournament supervisor has disgression. Tournament supervisors are educated as to how they should act in these situations beforehand. Also, in all of the above scenarios, race will NOT be resumed/restarted, nor rescheduled for a later date, unless participants in the tournament/event are informed otherwise. If this happens, all 'bonus points' that should be awarded will be negated.

5) Conduct

This is very simple. Whilst online you should , as is outlined in the PSN Terms and Service Agreement (which I'm sure all of you have read), "behave decently, respectfully and with consideration for us and other users (who may be children)." Inappropriate or offensive behaviour of any kind WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. In such cases, users can be and are often dropped from play AT THE LEAST, but can face partial or total point deduction, a partial or permanent ban from the world rankings, or, in the most serious of cases, being reported to the SEN Management Team. If myself or a tournament supervisor wishes to issue one of the more severe punishments, they MUST consult another tournament supervisor, who should evaluate the report from both sides and cast an overall judgment.

Before entering any tournament/event, please read the PSN Terms and Service Agreement Section 5: "How you and your Sub Accounts users must behave when using the SEN" here to avoid the above scenarios as much as possible.

6) System Reset

On the 31st of December of each year, the point system WILL BE RESET. This is to ensure that new users have an equal chance of topping the world rankings. Application to tournaments/events during the early months of the year will be VERY high, so multiple events will likely be hosted throughout the week and/or by multiple tournament supervisors at this time to make up for this.
